/ OVERVIEW

I left my country, Iran, after my parent's divorce and the onset of the Iran/Iraq war. This is my journey back, after a 30 year absence, to this ostracized and misunderstood land with the hope of learning about my father — one of Iran's most celebrated and influential literary figures — his life, and the country to which he has remained so passionately dedicated to over the years. And through this inner reconciliation with the past, the journey inescapably becomes a search for identity and belonging.
